Sukiyaki
Sukiyaki is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 piece beef suet, 1 lb. top sirloin or top of round, sliced paper thin, 1 c. onions, thinly sliced, 6 green onions, sliced in 1-inch pieces and 2 c. celery, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Rub hot skillet with suet; add meat and sear on both sides. Push to one side.
Rub skillet again with suet; add remaining ingredients.
Cook over high heat for about 3 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes more.
Stir gently several times.
Vegetables should be crisp.
