Sugarless Apple Pie
Sugarless Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with pastry for 9-inch pie, 6 apples, peeled and sliced, 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice (no sugar), 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/3 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place apples and undiluted apple juice in pan.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered 5 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in water.
Gently stir cornstarch into apple mixture. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered until thickened. Stir in cinnamon.
Fill pastry shell with apple mixture and cover with top crust.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
May make struedel topping if you wish instead of top crust.
