Sugared Popcorn
Sugared Popcorn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 2 c. sugar, few drops food coloring, 1 tbsp. vinegar and 1 c. unpopped popcorn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Pop popcorn in 1/4 cup of oil.
Be careful not to burn.
When you are through popping corn, pick out all unpopped kernels (this takes a little time, but it's worth it).
Put corn in a very large pot or bowl.
In a medium pot, combine water, sugar and 3 or 4 drops of food coloring.
Boil this until the sugar is dissolved. Add vinegar; cook until it comes to a hard boil (250Β°).
Very carefully pour mixture, little by little, over popcorn, stirring often.
Let cool, then break up.
