Sugar Tea Cakes
Sugar Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. shortening, 1 c. sour milk and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Add a dab of the sifted dry ingredients and beat well.
Then add a dab of the milk and beat well.
Repeat this until the dry ingredients and milk are all gone.
Add nuts.
Drop by the spoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Sprinkle sugar on each cookie when taken out of the oven.
