Beat sugar, eggs, butter, shortening, vanilla and baking powder together.
Stir in flour until stiff.
Turn out on floured board and knead, then roll out and cut with cookie cutter.
Put on greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350Β° until light brown.
