Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks oleo, 2 c. white sugar, 4 c. plain flour, 1 c. oil (wesson or crisco) and 1 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream oleo, oil and sugar.
Add well beaten eggs.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Refrigerate 3 or 4 hours or overnight.
Roll ball of dough about size of a quarter.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Mash down with finger tips.
Then press down with glass bottom which has been dipped in cold water (for first cookie only), then dip in white sugar for each cookie.
Bake at 375Β° or until light brown around edge.
Do not overbake. Baking time
6 to 10 minutes.
