Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 large egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Add baking powder and flour one cup at a time; mix after each addition.
Divide dough into 2 balls.
Roll each ball out on a floured surface.
Cut with cookie cutters.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet on top rack of oven for 6 to 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
Sprinkle lightly with sugar while hot.
