Stuffing Balls
Stuffing Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 loaves home-style bread, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 celery sticks, chopped, 1/4 c. oleo or butter and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cut up bread and set aside.
Finely chop onion and celery. Saute until limp, but not brown in melted butter.
Add 1/2 cup chicken soup, thyme, pepper and poultry seasoning.
Mix with bread and form balls (about 12).
Place in greased baking dish.
Mix remaining soup with water until smooth.
Pour 1 tablespoon of mixture over each ball.
Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350Β°. Remove cover.
Pour remaining soup over balls.
Bake uncovered 10 minutes.
