Stuffed Shells is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. jumbo pasta shells, 1/2 lb. mild italian sausage, casings removed, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 3 cloves garlic, crushed and 1 medium yellow onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook the pasta shells until al dente.

Drain and rinse with cold water.

Drain well.

Saute the sausage and ground beef until crumbly.

Drain and discard the fat.

In a large frying pan, saute the garlic and onion in the oil until transparent.

Add the spinach and cook until the liquid is evaporated.

Combine the sauteed meat and spinach mixture in a bowl.

Add the remaining ingredients except the tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese.

Mix together very well.

Place 2 1/2 cups of the tomato sauce into one 10 x 14-inch glass baking dish.

Fill the shells with the meat mixture; close them and place them seam side down in the sauce.

Top the shells with the remaining sauce and cover with Mozzarella and additional Parmesan cheese.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes or until hot throughout and bubbly.

Uncover the dish and broil a couple of minutes to brown the cheese slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley.
