Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 green peppers, 1/2 lb. ground beef, 2 c. cooked rice (about 2/3 c. uncooked), 1/4 c. chopped onions and 1 1/2 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cut green peppers in half lengthwise.
Remove seeds and wash. Combine ground beef with rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
Pile lightly into pepper halves.
Place in a large baking dish.
Pour tomato sauce on top of each pepper.
Cover tightly and bake in moderate oven at 350Β° for 1 1/4 hours or until peppers are tender, basting occasionally.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
