Stuffed Peppers

Slice stem ends from green peppers; scoop out seeds.
Blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain.
Combine ground beef, egg, salt, rice, 57 sauce, half of the barbecue sauce and onion.
Fill peppers; place in saucepan.
Combine remaining barbecue sauce, tomato juice and sugar; pour over peppers.
Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 40 to 60 minutes.
Baste occasionally. Serves 6.
