Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large green peppers, 1 lb. ground turkey or beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 c. tomato sauce and 3 oz. uncooked rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Wash peppers and cut off tops.
Remove seeds. Boil (steam) in 1-inch of water for 5 minutes. Brown meat and onion.
Drain.
Add tomato sauce, rice and pepper.
Cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Stand peppers upright in baking dish.
Place 1/2 ounce of cheese in bottom of each, then fill with meat mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Place 1/2 ounce of cheese on top of each pepper before serving.
