Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef sauteed with 1/2 c. onion, 2 tbsp. fat, 1 can tomato sauce, 1/2 can water and 1 c. cooked rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Saute the ground beef and onion in the fat.
Add the tomato sauce, water, rice, salt, pepper, sugar and flour.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Clean peppers; boil for 2 minutes and drain.
Stuff the peppers with hamburger mixture.
On top, add 4 tablespoons buttered bread crumbs and 4 tablespoons grated cheese.
Bake for 1/2 hour at 375Β°.
