Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, 1/2 lb. bacon, 1/2 vidalia onion, 1/2 c. bread crumbs and 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Remove stems from mushrooms after washing.
Chop stems and onion and put into glass bowl.
Microwave on High 2 minutes.
Mix in cream cheese.
Freeze bacon night before so you can cut strips into small pieces.
Cook on stove until 3/4 done.
Crumble into first mixture.
Add bread crumbs.
Stuff caps and put into glass pie plate.
Cover with Saran Wrap.
Microwave 2 minutes; turn and microwave 2 minutes.
Careful, steam is hot.
