Stuffed French Toast
Stuffed French Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 c. chopped nuts, 1 (16 oz.) loaf french bread and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat together cream cheese and 1 teaspoon vanilla until soft and fluffy.
Stir in nuts; set aside.
Cut bread into 10 to 12 (1 1/2-inch) slices.
Cut pocket in top of each.
Fill with 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese mixture.
Beat together eggs, whipped cream, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and nutmeg.
Dip bread slices into egg mixture. Cook until golden.
Heat together orange juice and preserves; drizzle over toast when done.
