Stuffed Cabbage
Stuffed Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 1 lb. ground beef and turkey, 2 c. cooked rice, 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes or whole tomatoes and 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar pizza sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Steam cabbage; let cool.
Separate each leaf to fill with mixture.
Mix together uncooked hamburger meat, cooked rice, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Fill cabbage leaf with about 2 tablespoons of mixture.
Roll up and secure with toothpick.
Lay side by side in casserole dish.
Top with pizza sauce and cheese if desired.
Cook at 325Β° for about 30 minutes or until done.
Serve with vegetable or salad.
