Student Ragout
Student Ragout is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon, 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cubed, 3 to 4 carrots, sliced, 1/2 medium onion, sliced and 5 to 6 medium to large potatoes, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In an electric frying pan, place the following in 1 layer: bacon on bottom, cubed round steak, sliced carrots and finish with potatoes on top. Salt and pepper on top to taste. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes at 325° and turn down to 275° for another 45 minutes.
