Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry Shortcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. strawberries, cut in halves, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 1/2 c. bisquick baking mix, 1/2 c. milk and 3 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 425Β°.
Mix strawberries and sugar; set aside. Mix Bisquick baking mix, milk, sugar and melted butter.
Spread in an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool.
Cut in pieces.
Split each piece.
Spoon strawberries on bottom layer.
Put top on and add remaining strawberries and whipped cream over top of each piece.
