Strawberry Pretzel
Strawberry Pretzel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. brown sugar, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels (old fashion) (not too fine), 8 oz. cream cheese and 8 oz. carton cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In 13 x 9-inch cake pan, melt butter or margarine with brown sugar until butter or margarine is melted and sugar dissolved. Remove from heat.
Immediately toss pretzels in pan; spread evenly and bake in 350Β° oven for 5 minutes.
Remove cool to lukewarm. Dissolve jello in boiling water; cool and add strawberries.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then beat in carton of Cool Whip slowly.
Spread on evenly over pretzels, seal edge all around pan with this.
Carefully spread (pour) jello mixture over cream layer.
Refrigerate until jello is set, about 1 hour or longer. Cut into squares.
