Strawberry Pie
Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 4 heaping tbsp. cornstarch, 4 heaping tbsp. strawberry jell-o and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a double boiler, cook sugar, cornstarch, boiling water and salt until thick.
Remove from heat; add Jell-O and cool.
Add 1 quart strawberries.
Pour into two 8-inch pie shells.
Serve with Cool Whip.
