Strawberry Pan Shortcake
Strawberry Pan Shortcake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 ready made angel food cake, 1 large wild strawberry jell-o, 2 c. boiling water, 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (with juice and sugar) and 1 medium cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Tear angel food cake into bite size pieces and put into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water, then add frozen strawberries.
Stir until berries are broken up.
Chill until barely soft set.
Pour Jell-O and strawberry mixture over angel food cake and top with Cool Whip.
Chill 2 hours or overnight.
