Strawberry Nut Bread

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Beat egg with strawberries and shortening.
Sift all dry ingredients into strawberry mixture; stir until just moistened.

Allow to cool 10 minutes in pan before putting on rack to cool.
Makes 1 loaf.
