Strawberry Jam
Strawberry Jam is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. crushed strawberries, 8 c. sugar, 2 boxes sure-jell fruit pectin and 1 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix strawberries and sugar thoroughly.
Set aside 10 minutes. Stir Sure-Jell with water in saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir mixtures together until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour into plastic containers; cover.
Let stand at room temperature for 1 day.
Jam is then ready to use.
Store in freezer or refrigerator.
Thaw in refrigerator.
Yields 8 (1 cup) containers.
