Strawberry Jam
Strawberry Jam is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. crushed strawberries, 2 pkg. sure-jell, 1 c. white corn syrup and 5 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix strawberries and Sure-Jell together with electric mixer on slow speed until well mixed; let stand for 20 minutes.
Add syrup and sugar to strawberry mixture.
Stir with a spoon until sugar is dissolved.
Place in containers; store in freezer.
Allow to set about 2 weeks before using.
This jam is good on toast or biscuits and makes a delicious topping for ice cream.
Yields about 10 (8 ounce) containers.
