Strawberry Glazed Bananas
Strawberry Glazed Bananas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed, 2 tbsp. sugar, 2/3 c. water, divided, 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/8 tsp. red food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine strawberries, sugar and 1/3 cup of the water in a saucepan.
Heat until boiling.
Stir in cornstarch that has been dissolved in the remaining 1/3 cup water.
Cook and stir until mixture boils.
Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, stirring.
Remove from heat; add food coloring and lemon juice.
Peel and slice bananas.
Add sauce and gently stir to coat bananas.
Serve at room temperature.
