Wash and drain berries and press through ricer.
You can use potato masher.
Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Combine with egg, milk and butter.
Pour into 9-inch square pan and bake at 375Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Use berries on top of cake.
Can use milk over all for shortcake dessert.
