Brown meat, onions and mushrooms in butter.
Stir in flour. Add 1 cup water, bouillon cubes, mustard, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook slowly 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve over rice.
