Cream together the margarine, sugar and brown sugar.
Add eggs, water and vanilla.
Beat well and add flour, salt and baking soda.
Chill dough.
To 1 tablespoon of dough enclose a chocolate star and roll into a ball.
Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yield: 4 1/2 dozen.
