Squash Soufflé

Squash Soufflé is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. yellow squash, sliced, unpeeled, 1 medium onion, sliced, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. sugar and 3 tbsp. melted butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Combine squash, onion, salt and sugar.

Simmer with small amount of water for 20 minutes.

Drain well and mash with potato masher.

Add eggs, melted butter, flour, milk and cheese.

Add seasoned salt to taste.

Bake in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole for 30 minutes.

Top with buttered crumbs.

Bake 10 minutes longer.

Bake uncovered.

This can be stored in refrigerator unbaked for 2 or 3 days.

Freezes well unbaked.

Serves 10 to 12.
