Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with squash, 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, cheez-its crackers, 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook squash with onion until tender.
Drain and mash.
Add cheese, cut in small pieces.
Add crackers, mashed fine.
Add milk and cream of mushroom soup.
Add a little celery.
Add small piece of onion cut fine.
Mix all together.
Pour in baking dish.
Add small pats of butter.
Bake at 350Β° until brown, about 30 to 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with crackers before cooking on top.
Then add butter.
