Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen squash, diced, 3 slices bacon, 1 c. shredded cheese, 1 large onion and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Boil squash until tender; drain.
Fry bacon.
When bacon is done, remove it from the pan and fry the onion in the bacon grease until the onion looks clear.
Mix onion, bacon grease, squash and eggs.
Then add cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
