"Squasage" Casserole
"Squasage" Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 medium squash, 1 egg, 10 to 12 saltine crackers, 1/2 to 1 lb. sausage to taste and 2 tsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Wash, slice and cook squash until it breaks apart easily with a fork.
Drain.
Add beaten egg, onion, crumbled crackers, margarine and sausage which has been broken in pieces, fried and drained.
Mix well.
Top with Velveeta slices or 2/3 cup shredded Cheddar.
Bake in regular oven at 350Β° until bubbly.
Do not cover.
