Have butter standing in mixing bowl at room temperature. Beat sugar into butter with electric mixer.
Add egg and beat well.
Resift flour with baking powder.
Adding 1/4 at a time, blend flour into beaten mixture.
Line cookie sheets with foil. Use cookie press.
Decorate with red, green or other sprinkle sugars.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
Makes about 100 cookies.
