Spritz Cookies
Spritz Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb butter or margarine, 1 cup sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 unbeaten egg and 4 cups sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Have butter standing in mixing bowl at room temperature. Beat sugar into butter with electric mixer.
Add egg and beat well.
Resift flour with baking powder.
Adding 1/4 at a time, blend flour into beaten mixture.
Line cookie sheets with foil. Use cookie press.
Decorate with red, green or other sprinkle sugars.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
Makes about 100 cookies.
