Spoon Bread
Spoon Bread is an moderately easy baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour. Made with drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, box jiffy corn muffin mix, butter, melted and c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix well and pour into a well-greased baking dish.
To double recipe, use a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake at 325° if using a glass dish or 350° for other kind of dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
I prefer to use fresh corn.
Add a little milk, salt and pepper.
Cook for a few minutes and cool. Serves 6.
