Split Pea Soup
Split Pea Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. split peas, 1 ham bone, 3 tbsp. butter, 2 tsp. salt and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Soak peas overnight in hot water.
Drain; put in pot and cover with water.
Add onions and ham bone.
Cook until peas are tender. Remove bone; mash peas real good.
Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Remove from heat.
Add milk, stirring constantly.
Bring to boil.
Cook 1 to 2 minutes.
Blend in pea mixture.
Heat thoroughly.
Serve hot.
