Spinach Salad
Spinach Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. spinach, washed and drained, 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and drained, onions, sliced thin, 1/2 to 1 head iceberg lettuce, broken into pieces and 1 pkg. frozen green peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a straight sided glass bowl, layer spinach in bottom. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
Crumble bacon over spinach and add a layer of onion slices.
Cover with a layer of iceberg lettuce.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
Cover with a layer of frozen peas, then a layer of hard-boiled eggs.
Cover with thick layer of mayonnaise, being careful to seal the edges. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
