Spinach Quiche
Spinach Quiche is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell, 1 small onion, chopped, 2 tbsp. melted margarine, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed or cooked fresh spinach and 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bake pie shell at 400° for 5 minutes.
Set aside.
Saute onion in butter; add spinach, stirring well.
Cook 2 minutes.
Blend flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Add to spinach.
Combine eggs, half and half and cheese.
Add to spinach mixture.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes.
