Spinach Madeline
Spinach Madeline is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained well, 2 c. milk, 6 tbsp. butter, melted, 6 tbsp. flour (self-rising) and 8 oz. soft cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Microwave butter and flour for 1 minute, then add milk and microwave 5 minutes.
Whisk mixture until thick (about like thick mashed potatoes).
Stir in cream cheese, cheese, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste.
Pour about 2/3 of mixture into spinach and mix well.
Pour spinach mixture into greased casserole and spread remaining sauce on top of spinach.
Pour melted butter over crackers and mix well.
Top casserole with cracker crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° until bubbly throughout.
