Beat eggs lightly.
Add sugar, spice, salt, milk and vanilla. Heat 1 3/4 cups milk; stir into egg mixture.
Blend in bread crumbs; mix well.
Turn into buttered 1-quart casserole.
Place in pan of hot water.
Bake, uncovered, in a 325Β° oven for 1 hour.
