Spice Nut Cake
Spice Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking powder and 3/4 tsp. ground cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, soda, cloves and cinnamon.
Add shortening, brown sugar and buttermilk.
Mix until all flour is moistened.
Beat 2 minutes; add eggs.
Beat 2 minutes more; stir in nuts.
Place in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes. Frost with Orange Butter Frosting.
