Speedie Rolls
Speedie Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. warm water, 2 pkg. yeast, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 6 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine water, yeast and sugar.
Stir until dissolved.
Add salt and 2 cups of flour.
Beat for 2 minutes; add eggs and shortening.
Beat for 1 minute.
Blend in rest of flour.
Cover and let rise in warm place for 20 minutes, then roll out and make rolls.
Let rise again, then bake in 325Β° oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
