Spanish Rice
Spanish Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. uncooked rice, 1 tbsp. lard, 1/4 c. chopped onions, 1/2 c. chopped green peppers and 1 1/2 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook rice in lard until lightly browned.
Add onions, green peppers, celery, tomatoes and sugar.
Heat to a boil.
Cover; reduce heat to simmer for 25 minutes, or until rice is tender. Stir in meat; cook slowly for 10 minutes.
