Spanish Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. white rice, 5 tbsp. butter, 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced, 1/2 onion, peeled and minced and 2 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter in a large skillet and saute garlic, onion and rice until garlic and onion are soft.

Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.

Cook for 2 minutes.

Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until the water has evaporated.

Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
