Spanish Rice
Spanish Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. uncooked rice, 1/2 onion, 1 can tomato sauce, 2 cans water and garlic salt (to taste), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Over medium heat in a skillet cook rice in oil. When rice starts to brown add chopped onion.
Cook about a minute.
You will smell the onion cooking.
Add tomato sauce, then quickly the water (it will sizzle); stir together.
Slowly add garlic salt to taste.
Put a cover over the skillet.
Reduce heat to low and simmer about 20 minutes.
All liquid should be gone.
