Spanish Rice
Spanish Rice is an moderately easy Spanish dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 2 minutes. Made with c. cooked rice, . butter or margarine, small onion, chopped, c. chopped green pepper and c. canned or cooked tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat 2 tablespoons butter margarine in skillet. Saute 1 chopped onion, 1/4 cup green pepper and 1/4 cup celery for 5 minutes.
Add
/2 cups cooked rice, 2 cups tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon salt and F.G.
Pepper.
Bring the boiling point. Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
Add 1/3 cup grated sharp cheese and serve.
Makes 4 servings.
