Spanish Barley
Spanish Barley is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. pearl barley, 5 c. water, 3 slices bacon, cut in pieces, 2 small onions, diced and 1 green pepper, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Wash barley.
Add water and boil about 45 minutes or until done; drain.
Brown bacon.
Add onions, green pepper and seasonings.
When onions are tender, add tomatoes and cook 10 minutes.
Add to drained barley and simmer 5 minutes.
