Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Spaghetti With Meat Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (15 oz.) can (about 2 c.) tomato sauce, 1 (12 oz.) can (about 1 1/2 c.) tomato paste, 2/3 c. water, 1 small onion, finely chopped and 1 clove garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, onion, garlic, mushrooms with liquid, nutmeg and sugar in Dutch oven.
Bring to a boil on top of the stove.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 250Β°.
Cover and cook sauce in the oven for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, add ground beef.
(You may crumble or make meatballs.)
Cook 1 hour.
Add tomato juice or water and cheese and cook for 20 minutes.
