Spaghetti Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 bushel tomatoes, 4 hot peppers (for hotter sauce, only 2 if mild), 3 lb. chopped onions, 2 c. cooking oil and 1 tbsp. oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cook the first 3 ingredients 2 to 3 hours.
Add the oil, oregano, salt, basil and sugar. Cook 1 hour, then add the tomato paste.
Bring to a hard boil. Remove from heat. Can or freeze. Makes 11 quarts.
