Spaghetti Pie

Spaghetti Pie is an impressive dinner. Made with 6 oz. spaghetti, 2 tbsp. margarine, 1/3 c. parmesan cheese, 2 eggs, well beaten and 1c. cottage cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook spaghetti according to package.

Drain.

Stir in margarine.

Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs.

Form spaghetti mixture into a crust in a buttered pie plate.

Spread cottage cheese over top of spaghetti.

In a skillet, brown ground meat or sausage with onions and green peppers until tender.

Drain off fat.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Cook until ground meat or sausage is done.

Put into the crust. Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and bake an additional 5 minutes.
